JOHN KEHOE

Managing Director Celtic Safety Training, Auditor, Consultant, Trainer

2005 appointed as Manager Director for Celtic Safety Training Ireland (a training and consultancy organization). I have stabilized the business and managed growth by building a quality portfolio of reputable clients.

  • 30 years’ experience in Health & Safety training and Consultancy, Developing and implementing and maintaining integrated management systems including audit, assessment, capability measurement.
  • Maintaining and improving Business Standards and Company accreditations.
  • Safety and Quality Training and practical Management Consultancy.
  • Experience and knowledge of the following management systems:  

    o ISO:14001, ISO.9001.ISO:45001: ISO.17024.


I Joined Meteor Mobile Communications Ltd as Health & Safety and Environmental Manager covering Technical and Operational Group Customer Services. Actively promoted / facilitated improvement initiatives throughout industry. During this time I implemented ISO:14001:2018, and ISO14001.


Worked in Telecommunications Engineering in Utilities sector as Quality Assurance Manager and Health & Safety Manager. Senior Management promotion attained and provided effective support to Morrison Tesl Ltd during exponential growth over five years.


Delivered Safety Management Training and Consultancy to such companies as for example: Eir, Meteor Mobile Communications, Refrigeration Industry, Office of Public Works, Local Authorities and Public Courses.

HELENA BRACKEN

Financial Controller, Office Manager, Human Resource Officer, Data Protection Officer 

I joined Celtic Safety Training in 2016 as Financial Controller, Office Manager & Human Resource Officer, I later trained to become the Data Protection Officer. Prior to joining Celtic Safety Training I gained over 20 years’ experience within the Financial and Training Sectors. I was the Training Network Manager & Administrator for the IPCA Accel / Skillnet Project (Skillnet Ireland is the national talent development agency of Ireland offering upskilling programmes and business supports to companies of all sizes through 70 Skillnet Business Networks and National Initiatives).

I managed the overall project budgets ensuring to meet Income and Expenditure targets, managing cashflow, financial record keeping, ensuring all training targets were met, scheduling training, organise and execute networks activities.


As part of my roles within Celtic Safety Training I am responsible for the management of CST Finances, I liaise with Management monthly to give financial update on Profit & Loss and Cashflow projections. It is my responsibility as HR Officer to manage the complete lifecycle of employees from recruitment to termination and I am responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, fostering a positive work culture, handling employee complaints and maintaining confidential records. I manage our Clients Training Budgets and liaise with Clients, Team Members and Trainers to ensure an agreed training schedule can be executed in line with the Clients expectations and Budget. I work closely with my colleagues to identify the Training Needs Analysis for the Public requirements and execute the delivery of this training.

MICHELLE COEN

Training Co-Ordinator, Office Administrator and Solas Verifier 

I joined Celtic Safety Training in 2016 as a training co-ordinator, office administrator and Solas Verifier since 2017. I have many years’ experience in an administration role having carried out this role in the insurance sector for more than 10 years, prior to joining the company. I am responsible for developing and the delivery of training programmes for our clients and the administration and verification post-delivery of training relating to CSCS courses. I have recently, completed an IOSH accredited OTHM level 3 Technical Certificate In Occupational Health and Safety.

PASCHAL SWEENEY

Auditor, Consultant, Lead Auditor, Project Manager, Trainer.

Worked for over 45 years in the telecommunications related industry and served in the Technical, Data Management, Quality Management, and Health & Safety Management sections of the industry. Specialised in the areas of Quality, Health & Safety Management Systems Audits and Training. Compiling and updating documented Safety Statements, Work Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Audit Check sheets and Accident Prevention Guidelines.

COLIN KEHOE

Trainer

My name is Colin Kehoe, I have been working with Celtic Safety Training since August 2020. My role within the company is to deliver Solas, Signing Lighting Guarding (S.L.G.) C.S.C.S. course. I deliver Health and Safety at Roadworks (HS@RW’s) C.S.C.S. course. *Abrasive wheels since completing the Abrasive wheels instructor course *Manual Handling for both Eir and the Council as a QQI Manual Handling Instructor *S.S.W.P. (Safe System of Work Plan) Training for various County Councils all over Ireland.


I started my training when I completed Train The Trainer (T.T.T.) and worked as a Telecoms engineer on the road in England for nearly two years and then came home and started for KN Circet, I was on the road for 4 years completing PSTN line ADSL and VDSL all over Ireland.

When the Training Academy started in 2016 with KN, I started training telecoms engineers in Fiber and then was out cross training engineers to do both fiber and copper network.

I delivered working at heights, underground training, MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) training : running dropwire and jumpers within Cabinets, Exchanges and road side units (RSU) and anything that was requested from the manager.

Katie Moran

Office Administrator

I joined the Celtic Safety Training team in June 2020, as part of my role I am responsible for organising our company’s day-to-day operations. As office administrator I work alongside the Training Co-Ordinator and Office Manager to ensure the training database administration and all other office administration requirements are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
